A quiet weekend in Glorious countryside was enjoyed by 24 ralliers, escaping from the noise and bustle of the week, and soaking in the joy of Great Longstone, surely one of Derbyshires Prettier villages ?
As well as laying on great sunny weather, the marshals also laid on a village fete weekend and a country walk (although only some of that maybe true.....).
On Saturday a band of hardy walkers set out on a daring mission - to enjoy the countryside and find suitable refreshments, which were found at nearby Monsel Head.
Saturday evening brought with it an evening of entertainment, with a game of "high tec", "big screen" blockbusters, hosted by the Marshals, won by a team comprising of Mike Raybould a the Nightingales.....
Sunday brought a free and easy day, just perfect to enjoy the weather and scenery.
