Changes and updates to Rallies are now on the Rally Changes Pages

 

Eve of AGM Social                                      (added 21/7/10)

Tickets are now available for the Eve of AGM Social.  Tickets are £12 Adults, £9 Children, or a Family Ticket (2+2) for £40 and include a 3 course meal, disco and caberet.  See Steve Brown for Tickets and full details

The menu for the evening is  

Tomato & Basil Soup or Tropical Fruit Juice 

Followed by 
Roast Topside of Beef or Roast Breast of Chicken or Vegetarian Option 
New Potatoes Roast Potatoes 
Baby Carrots 
Minted Garden Peas 
Buttered Sweetcorn 

and for Sweet 
Fresh Fruit Salad or Gateaux with Fresh Cream

Christmas Party                                           (added 21/7/10)

Tickets are now available for the Centre Christmas Party, ti be held at Weston on Trent.

Tickets are £15 for Adults and Children, with the childrens ticket also including a Christmas party and a vist from yu know who.......

Dinner Dance 2011                            (added 19/7/10)

The centre is holding its 2011 Dinner Dance at Kenwood Hall in Sheffield on March 19th 2011.

The evening will be a fabluous, with a three course meal, after dinner speaches, live  entertainment and disco.

To make the evening even better value, the committee have negotiated a reduced price for the event and tickets are now just £33 each.

Committee Nominations                             (added 11/5/10)

The Centre holds is annual AGM weekend in October.  The Teenagers AGM is held on Saturday and the Centre holds its Meeting at 10am on Sunday October 3rd.

Your Centre needs you to help run it, and all Committee members give their time for the enjoyment of all Centre Members.

Every year nominations are open to any Centre member for any Committee post.

Scrap Heap Challenge                            (added 24 May 2010)

Its great to see that so many people enjoyed the Scrap Heap Challenge Weekend.
Letters of thanks have been received by Kim and Lyn, and Steve and Jackie from the Lofthouse Family and the Davies Family. 
Thanks to all who came, enjoyed and participated

 


Committee Changes                             (updated 10/5/10)

Further to the announcement below, the committe are pleased to announce that Steve Brown, Motor Sports Officer will act as Honarary Social Secretary for the remainder of the the Committee year.


It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Steve Garland, Honorary Social Secretary from the Centre Committee.

Steve has resigned after 3 1/2 years on Committe, during which time he has filled the roles of Sports Officer and Honorary Social Secretary.

We all wish Steve the best for the future and thank him for all his hard work over his years.


1000th Rally Presention                         (added 25/1/10)

Past Centre Chairman Brian Clarke, and his wife Pat, have been recognised for attending 1000 Rallies.  Presented at Christmas Party, achieving 1000 Rallies represents their commitment to the centre, and a life time of happy memories.

In addition to receiving their 1000th  rally plaque, Brian and Pat were presented with Champagne , Flowers and a specially engraved vase.


Rallies Needing Marshals 2010                         (updated May 24th 2010)

The following rallies still require marshals for next season.
If you are able to help, please speak to a member of the Committee or Lesley Gregory at the AGM Rally

Rally Plaques    (updated 4/10/09)

The centre now has a new plaque supplier.

As part of this change, the images used for the plaques have changed too.

Details, and reference number for the new images can be found by clicking here

Marshals should quote the number of new images when ordering.  

There is an order form which may assist you in obtaining the plaques you require. 
Orders for plaques must be made through the Hon Sec, and not made directly with the supplier.

Click here to download an order form - it is not compulsory, but may assist you.

At present, to ensure delivery before your rally, Marshals should continue to order plaques 3 weeks in advance

Plaques should be ordered through Jonathon Nightingale, whose contact details are on Page 41 of the 2009 rally book.
