Motor Sports Rally - 5th - 7th March 2010

2010 saw the return of the Motor Sport weekend, back at Darley Moor, and with it 29 hardy caravanners turned out to enjoy one of the drier, warmer (?) and probably least white weekend of the year so far......and the sun even came out.

Saturday saw the main competition, with the CMC drivers comepting with Derbyshire's finest for top honours on the full course of 5 tests, whilst Sunday morning saw a more relaxed pace as new and experienced drivers took to the course for tuition, for fun and a bit of gentle competition too.

The Derbyshire trophies were hotly contested as always and were scored across both the Saturday and Sunday sessions, and with interest high this year it was good to see so many new faces having a go at driving.

To add interest away from the motor sports field, competitions were held for Radio Controlled Cars and for Scaletrix racing.
